An Inspector Calls...

S3/4 have been working on the play "An Inspector Calls" by JB Priestley in English this year. The drama students have also based their own production piece for unit 3 of the course on the play. We all went to see director Stephen Daldry's award winning production of the play at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow. The performance was outstanding and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. We have been rehearsing our S3/4 drama production piece every Wednesday morning. This week was our first try at a dress rehearsal - we had lots of fun but we will definitely need to polish up on a few parts! Deborah and Gabriella are both playing Eva Smith (one who tells the story and the other who appears in flashbacks), Hannah plays a factory worker and Sheila Birling, Jessica plays a factory worker and Mrs Birling and Daniel plays all the male roles!
