In S1 we have started finding out about the Romans...
Our first task has been to find out how the City of Rome got it name. There are, of course, many legends surrounding the foundation of Rome, but we have chosen to look at the most famous- Romulus and Remus.
The pictures below show S1 in their togas acting out the story! (With a few 21st Century props to help!) once ROmulus and Remus had overpowered and killed their Wicked Uncle they built a new City. The brothers argued over who would name the city- Romulus wanted to name it Rome, Remus wanted to name it Remus! Romulus killed his brother, and named the city after himself. Can you see from the last picture which pupil played Romulus?

I am a little concerned to see Kerr with a crown on his head ! He could make life changing decisions ! I can only hope he is kind to his poor Mum and Dad and does not decide to have them banished or worse !
